On my first mission trip, the last night, became close with eight kids from my church. I remember that was first time I had a sense of what being a Christian meant, I broke down in tears, which I hardly ever do. They were all crying too. We talked, cried and prayed for about two hours. |

Growing up in the community of the church there was no distinction between secular and school activities. For instance in choir you were together as family. |

Our church had the opportunity to purchase additional property. Many parishioners were afraid to make a commitment. She said she loved them all and she encouraged them to move forward.
