Announcing a New Exhibition in Synod Hall:
“Expressions of Hope”
April 6- May 22 Trinity Cathedral, Trenton
Opening Reception Thursday, April 10 from 4-6 pm
The artist/clients of HomeFront and Partners in Recovery have joined forces in this amazing testimony to the power of creative expression. From men and women whose lives have been interrupted by homelessness, addiction, or mental illness, comes art that speaks from the heart and surges with life and hope.
Partners in Recovery is a partial care program of Catholic Charites which provides integrated treatment for the co-occuring disorders of mental illness and substance abuse. Their mission is “Renewing lives and restoring hope by empowering individuals and families.”
HomeFront, a non-profit organization located in Lawrenceville, works to help the area’s homeless population rebuild their lives “one family, one person, one day at a time”. www.homefrontnj.org
Proceeds from the sale of art go directly to the artists. Some of the artists, at their initiative, have donated paintings to give back to the art program, so that the next person in their shoes will be able to paint.
The exhibition will be at Trinity Cathedral, 801 W. State St., Trenton, from April 6-May 22, Please call for hours (609) 392-3805 All are invited to the Opening Reception.
