Dr. Thomas Ferguson, Associate Deputy for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations at the Episcopal Church Center, has written the following monograph on the history and place of deacons in the church. He holds a M.Div. from Yale Divinity School, a Certificate in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, a Th.M. from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, and a Ph.D. in the History of Christianity from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA.
