Committees,
Commissions, and Boards: The
Stewardship Commission
Stewardship is everything
that we do after we say 'I believe.' Too often it is seen as the annual
fall fund-raising necessary to pay the bills. And that neither works nor
is it accurate.
The Stewardship
Commission of the Diocese of New Jersey is made up of dedicated clergy
and lay ministers dedicated to assisting your parish, mission, or you personally
to develop faithful stewardship practices. We believe that stewardship
is everything we do after we say “I believe.” The Commission
works all year to put forth the message that stewardship is a twelve-month-a-year
concern for our caring for the Kingdom of God, a part of which is funding
our ministries.
Training
Workshops
At least once each year the Commission offers a diocese-wide workshop featuring
a nationally recognized leader in stewardship. These workshops are very personal,
spiritual and joyful. Check the News section of this page for the latest
workshops.
