Committees, Commissions, and Boards: Commission on Ministry with the Disabled

Our general goal is to make everyone in the diocese aware of the needs of people with every kind of disability: physical, mental, emotional, and developmental.

The eight-member Commission on Ministry with the Disabled meets six times per year and works to to increase the awareness of the special needs of the disabled. They offer resources to congregations for making their worship accessible and hopes to have the ability in future to give small grants to those churches in need for making their worship accessible.

For additional information about the Commission, contact the Reverend Cynthia E. Carlson or The Reverend William Johnson, Co-Chairs.
